Apple Balsamic Elixir: A Culinary Revelation
Apple Balsamic Elixir: A Culinary Revelation
Our Apple Balsamic Elixir, made with organic apples grown on The Center for Discovery’s Thanksgiving Farm®, is inspired by an 18th-century Italian recipe and is slow-cooked, double-fermented, and aged in New York whiskey barrels. Its unique, delicate, sweet apple flavor enhances hot and cold dishes alike, and adds character to salads, vegetables, meat, glazes, and desserts.
How to Enjoy;
● Salads: A classic ingredient in dressing for green salads made with goat cheese and walnuts; in beet and apple salads, and in seasonal fruit salads
● Vegetables: Toss vegetables like butternut squash, sweet potatoes, and brussels sprouts in an Apple Balsamic glaze and roast for a fantastic fall feast
● Meats & Poultry: Makes an ideal base for a marinade made with garlic, lemon, herbs, an olive oil to brush on roasted pork loin or grilled chicken
● Cheese: Fantastic on cheese boards with aged Parmigiano Reggiano or old cheddar.
● Desserts: Delightful spooned over vanilla or caramel ice cream, fresh peaches, berries, or panna cotta.
